Uganda (International Christian Concern) –The Islamic State terror group has claimed responsibility for two bomb blasts that killed at least six people and injured over 30 in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, on Tuesday.

“The group claimed responsibility for the incident through a statement on its Telegram channels. It said three suicide bombers took part, with one attack targeting the central police station and another aimed at parliament,” reported the Premium Times.

Police said intelligence sources have contributed the attack to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) terrorist group, an affiliate of ISIS.

In late October, ADF was blamed for two bombings, also in Kampala.

The ADF terror group originated in Western Uganda, and currently operates out of the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. The group has the primary aim of creating an Islamic Caliphate in Central Africa.

HOW TO PRAY: Pray for peace and comfort for those who lost loved ones in these bombings. Pray for healing for all those who were injured. Pray for an end to ADF-led violence in Uganda.
