Pastor John Cao Envisions The 'Post-Imprisonment Life' 
ChinaAid published another letter from jailed Pastor John Cao to his mother detailing his thoughts about life once he's free from jail. 

In Pastor Cao's words: "In addition, I hope to have “three joys”: enjoy following the Holy Spirit, enjoy reading books, and enjoy making friends. Also, I hope to have “three loves”: Love Jesus, love enemies, and love everyone."

Pastor Cao's words and his stirring testimony, despite his time in jail, have been a powerful encouragement to both his 86-year old mother and other Christians. Read more of Pastor Cao's writings in Living Lyrics, a collection of prison poetry published by ChinaAid.

Is Teaching Children An 'Illegal Business Operation?'
Christians Wan Hongxia and Wang Minghai of the Jordan River Learning Center have been formally prosecuted by local officials with the charge of "illegal business operations." Authorities raided the Mount Carmel Church-affiliated Learning Center last May.

Here's part of a prayer letter a fellow Christian in Wuhu posted on social media...

We believe teaching children is the parent’s privilege given by God. Parents are guardians of their children and they are entitled to choose the best type of education for their children. Every Christian parent has the right and responsibility to do so...I pray that God protects and comforts their family members. Wang Minghai has two daughters (15 years and 4 years). Wan Hongxia has a 19-year-old daughter.

How Kazakh Officials Tried To Shape The Xinjiang Narrative
Human rights activist Serikzhan Bilash sat down once again with a ChinaAid reporter for an exclusive interview on how the Kazakh government tried to intimidate him and his human rights organization. 

The Kazakh authorities are afraid of us. We have influence in the West. We exposed the concentration camps. They want to arrest people like us, but they also have to take into account the pressure. The government has mixed feelings towards us. They have been using intimidation tactics," Serikzhan notes in the interview.
