UN Human Rights Commissioner's Controversial China Trip
Michelle Bachelet finished up a trip to China in late May. She commented in a press conference that her visit was to "pave the way" for continued talks about human rights and was not an investigation.
However, ChinaAid President & Founder Bob Fu was quoted in The Washington Stand saying "ironically from this trip, the world’s supposedly highest human rights officer had become part of the communist propaganda narrative system of one of the world’s worst human rights violators.”
The article notes "to the disappointment of human rights advocates, Bachelet proceeded to use the CCP’s preferred terminology throughout her statement. She described the detainment of more than a million Uyghur people as “deradicalization” and “anti-terrorism” efforts, accepting Beijing’s widely discredited excuse for its actions in the Xinjiang region."
Adrian Zenz of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation told Bloomberg TV Bachelet's trip was a "disaster." A team led by Zenz researched and authenticated the groundbreaking Xinjiang Police Files leak from May 2022.
Please keep all those suffering persecution in China in your prayers, along with the officials across the world who are in positions of authority regarding human rights and religious freedom

Elder Hao Ming In Poor Health
Sad news emerged this week after Elder Hao Ming's lawyer was able to meet with him in the Deyang City Detention Center. According to Elder Hao's wife Yang Yufeng, he is in poor health due to Hematochezia.
Elder Hao of Qingcaodi Church is not allowed to leave prison for medical treatment due to COVID restrictions. He was originally arrested in November 2021 under a fake 'fraud' charge, having served Qingcaodi Church for more than 10 years until retirement in March 2021. He and his wife then served at the Chengdu Early Rain Covenant Church.
Mrs. Yang Yufeng hopes that God’s glory is manifested through her husband’s case and that God shows His justice and mercy on her husband. She asked fellow Christians to pray for him and his lawyer.
Please keep Elder Hao, his family, and both ERCC Chengdu and Qingcaodi Church in your prayers
