"We are committed to lay down our lives for the gospel. We will fulfill the Great Commission, and we will never forsake the truth." —An unnamed secret believer in North Korea I wanted to share that quote with you before anything else below... it reminds me of the bold faith on display in North Korea, a place where following Jesus can get you killed. It's just one of several messages that recently made their way to Open Doors. Each message is a note from a North Korean Christian, showing both the brutal reality of following Christ in North Korea and the deep faith that has taken root there. I am inspired by these believers, and the millions like them around the world, who demonstrate unwavering courage in the face of persecution. A donation today goes to support our brave brothers and sisters as they stand firm in some of the most dangerous countries. |

The bold witness of Christians in North Korea—ranked No. 1 on Open Doors' 2025 World Watch List—is humbling. It's a reminder that God is at work even when we aren't sure we can see His hand. But these messages also reminded me that all Christians belong to one Body of Christ. When North Korean Christians say they are praying for us... that's astonishing, but it's also the purpose of God's Church on display. And prayer goes both ways: "We are grateful for your prayers," says one secret Christian in North Korea. "We are proud to be part of God's Kingdom and are motivated to live for Christ alone. We are able to do that thanks to the strength you give us." Please: Your prayers matter so much to Christians in North Korea. Take a moment, right now, and join them in prayer—and thank God for their incredible testimony and faithfulness. In Christ, |
