1 JOHN 3:1-2 “See what great love the FATHER has lavished on us, that we should be called children of GOD! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of GOD, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when CHRIST appears, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”
GOD loves you and me with a greater love than we can ever know. So when we have days where we are tempted to question our own worth, take some time to think about how much you and I are worth to GOD. He loved us enough to adopt us into His family. Because He adopts us, He gives us the right to call Him ABBA, FATHER! In CHRIST we have become sons and daughters to Him! JESUS paid the ultimate price for our adoption with His own precious blood shed on the cross. So, you and I are ABBA FATHER’s priceless sons and daughters! What a wonderful love the FATHER has for us!
Prayer:
ABBA FATHER, thank You that You have adopted me into Your great family. I am in awe and amazed at Your goodness and grace in sending JESUS to redeem me from my old sinful self. Now that I am Your child, I pray that the HOLY SPIRIT will help me to be strong in my faith. I desire to grow in Your grace and in the knowledge of Your Son JESUS CHRIST. May I always acknowledge Your divine presence as I make You my top priority every single day, in the most beautiful Name of JESUS. Amen.
