Matthew 14:14
“When JESUS landed and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them and healed their sick.”

We know that JESUS cares for us because He cared enough to give His life for us. HE CARED ENOUGH TO GIVE US EVERYTHING HE HAS. No one else has ever paid a greater price. He died on the cross to show us that He cared for us.

JESUS' care and compassion are also demonstrated in His healing miracles. In the Gospels, He heals numerous individuals, often moved by their suffering.

For example, in Mark 1:40-41, a leper approaches JESUS, begging to be made clean. JESUS , “moved with compassion,” reaches out, touches him and heals him.

JESUS was radically selfless. The love He showed others sought nothing in return; He gave His time and energy freely to anyone who asked for it and plenty that didn’t; JESUS even humbled Himself to the point of washing His friends’ feet — an act reserved for a servant. JESUS was selfless.

In today’s crowded world of needy people, JESUS is extending His hands inviting all who are weary and are heavy laden to come to Him.

Prayer:
My dear Lord JESUS, I praise and thank You that You care so much for a sinner like me You offered Your life on the cross so that I may find the way back to GOD, find forgiveness for my sins, and be greatly blessed with salvation and eternal life.
I come to You now casting all my burdens to You, to be restored in You, renewed in You, to receive Your life and Your endless love. In Your most powerful Name I pray. Amen.
