RELEASE – Reports Confirm Undeniable Genocide against Christians, Says International Committee on Nigeria
A decades-long genocidal campaign against Christians in Nigeria has finally come to light, most recently in three reports by the International Committee on Nigeria (ICON) — a coalition partner of Save the Persecuted Christians (STPC) — urging the United Nations to condemn and halt the state-sponsored pogroms. In addition to a report submitted to the U.N. special rapporteur on Freedom of Religion or Belief for discussion at September’s U.N. CHINA – There are no longer a safe place for Chinese Christians
Chinese believers stated there is no longer a safe place for Chinese Christians as religious persecution continues and increases. A member of the Early Rain Covenant Church in Chengdu, further claimed in the ICC video that the Chinese Communist Party (CPC), “makes you think that they are willing to compromise because they know Americans care about freedom of religion.” “If China makes concessions in religious freedom, then the U.S. should compromise in trade. Hate Crimes against Christians in India have risen by an alarming 40.87%, in Spite of the Nation-Wide Lockdown, announces Persecution Relief in its Half Yearly Report of 2020 which was released today. NIGERIA – Pastor, 5-Year-Old Boy among 10 Christians Killed in Herdsmen Attacks in Nigeria
Muslim Fulani herdsmen on Friday (July 24) killed a church pastor, a 5-year-old boy and eight other Christians in attacks in north-central Nigeria, sources said. The boy, Joel Cephas, and the Rev. Shamah Kuyet Ishaya of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) in Zikpak were killed in attacks on predominantly Christian areas in and around Kafanchan, Jema’a County, in southern Kaduna state, between 8 p.m. and midnight, sources said. YEMEN – Persecuted Yemeni Christians Request Prayer
Christians living in Yemen request prayer as they experience persecution amidst ongoing war, food shortages, and COVID-19. These challenges have created a significant burden of isolation, both spiritually and physically. The Christian population, which once numbered approximately 40,000, is reduced to only a few thousand.
