Though home to Christians for almost two millennia, India is host to an increasing onslaught of violent attacks towards the church by Hindutva radicals. Anti-conversion laws passed across several states in India empower radicals. These laws erode the religious freedom guaranteed by the constitution of India.

Recently, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-controlled states across India amended or enacted anti-conversion laws under the guise of protecting religious freedom. These laws intrude on individual freedoms by empowering the government to track, monitor, and even disapprove of religious conversions. 

It's time for action!
