Thank you for your prayers and support as we stand for freedom and liberty across China in 2023. We'll be keeping you updated as we stand together with the persecuted faithful this year.

Here's the latest on religious freedom, human rights, and the rule of law across China.

News & Updates

New CCP Investigative Committee In Congress
The U.S. House of Representatives agreed to establish a new bipartisan “Select Committee on the Strategic Competition Between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party” to discuss how to address China-related issues. Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-Wisconsin) will chair the 16-member committee. Here's why ChinaAid President & Founder Bob Fu finds the new committee "encouraging."

Pray for all Chinese Communist Party members and the legislators & staff on this new committee.

Concerns From Wives Of Jailed Christians
The wives of Qingcaodi Church elders Wu Jiannan and Hao Ming posted concerns on social media regarding their husbands. Both were arrested in November 2021 on a "fraud" charge due to their Christan faith. Cui Yanqin explained her two kids ask everyday when Elder Wu will return home. Yang Yufeng wrote in early January how her husband worked without a salary at Qingcaodi and the church was always transparent with their offering. Even a Chinese police officer who knows Hao Ming's family thinks he's innocent.

Pray for Wu, Cui, Hao, Yang, their families, Qingcaodi Church members, and their persecutors.

Christian Ministers Under Residental Surveillance
A new prayer request letter details the plight of three Xi'an Church of Abundance ministers, Pastor Lian Changnian, Pastor Lian Xuliang, and Preacher Fu Juan. The trio were arrested for "fraud" last August and placed under residential surveillance. Concerns continue to rise due to the lack of updates and the activity of guards to block attorney visitation for the three church leaders. Here's why residental surveillance is seen as a torture measure.

Pray for these three Gospel ministers, their families, and their persecutors.
