We've received news about a new prisoner address and location for unjustly jailed activist Ding Jiaxi.
He was given a 12-year sentence in April 2023 for founding the New Citizens Movement to advocate for greater transparency from the Chinese Communist Party.
CCP officials instead harshly persecuted Ding for his bold efforts and arrested him with others in December 2019. Sadly, ChinaAid confirmed in 2021 that Ding and Dr. Xu Zhiyong were tortured during house arrest through sleep deprivation, starvation, and with a lack of water.
Please write a letter to encourage Ding and let him know that he is not alone at his new location.Why are letters to prisoners so impactful? They bring hope to those unjustly jailed and show prison guards and officials that there are many across the world who are concerned about the prisoner's well-being, safety, and treatment.
